As a mom constantly searching for healthy snacks, I was thrilled to discover Serenity Kids puffs. The carrot & beet flavor quickly became a staple in our diaper bag - perfect for distracting my 8-month-old during diaper changes.
The texture is just right - dissolves easily but still gives baby that satisfying crunch. Unlike other puffs we've tried, these don't turn into sticky paste all over tiny fingers. I love watching my little one practice his pincer grasp with these!
What really won me over was the ingredient list. Knowing these contain actual veggies (not just corn) and bone broth makes me feel good about snack time. We often use them as 'appetizers' while preparing dinner - keeps baby occupied and gets some nutrients in.
That said, I did notice they have a slightly bitter aftertaste (I may or may not have sampled a few). My little one doesn't seem to mind though - he gobbles them up every time! The price point is higher than conventional puffs, but for clean ingredients I'm willing to pay extra.
After reading about potential heavy metal concerns, we've decided to enjoy these in moderation rather than as a daily snack. They're still in our rotation, but we balance them with other whole food options.
