Let me start by saying, this raincoat is a game-changer for dog owners who live in rainy areas. I've tried several dog raincoats before, but the Ezierfy Reflective Dog Rain Coat stands out for its thoughtful design and practicality.
The waterproof polyester fabric is lightweight yet durable – my dog doesn't seem bothered by wearing it at all. What really impressed me was how dry he stayed during our recent downpour walk. While other coats left his belly damp, this one kept him completely dry thanks to the extended coverage.
The reflective strips are brilliant (literally!). Walking my black lab at night used to make me nervous, but now cars can spot us from a distance when their headlights hit the reflective material. It gives me so much peace of mind.
Sizing seems to be the main concern in reviews, and I agree it's tricky. My 65lb lab mix fits perfectly in XL, but I can see how larger breeds might struggle. The adjustable straps help customize the fit around the chest and belly – no more awkward gaps or tight spots.
The hood with elastic toggle is a nice touch that actually stays put (unlike others I've tried). And the leash hole at the top? Genius! No more fussing with layers under the harness.
Two minor drawbacks: The velcro could be stronger – my enthusiastic pup sometimes loosens it when scratching. Also, while it's great for rain protection, don't expect warmth. We layer it over a sweater when it's both cold and wet.
After three months of use (and many washes), it's holding up beautifully. Folds down small enough for my treat bag too! If you're on the fence about sizing, I'd recommend measuring carefully and maybe sizing up if between sizes.
