Let me start by saying my 6-year-old hasn't stopped dunking since we installed this! The spring-loaded rim really does give that satisfying 'swish' sound when you score, and the 60° adjustable angle makes trick shots actually possible in our tiny apartment hallway.
The GOOD stuff first: Installation was stupid easy - literally just hook it over any door (no tools!) and you're ready to play. I've moved it between bedroom, office, and even our balcony door without issues. The shock-absorbing corner pads WORK - no angry neighbors despite my kid's 6AM practice sessions!
Now the NOT-SO-GOOD: That backboard... oof. It's like they used leftover plastic from soda bottles. For the price point, I expected at least semi-sturdy plexiglass instead of this flimsy sheet that vibrates like a tuning fork with every shot. The included balls are decent quality though - survived two weeks of indoor/outdoor use without deflating.
PRO TIP: We ended up reinforcing the backboard with cardboard from an Amazon box (classy, I know) which actually improved gameplay dramatically. Would I buy again? For under $30 - absolutely, but manage expectations on durability.
