I was excited to try the YIMI Photochromic Bifocal Reading Sunglasses, hoping they'd be the ultimate solution for my reading and outdoor needs. The idea of switching seamlessly between reading glasses and sunglasses sounded perfect for my busy lifestyle.
The photochromic feature works decently well. Indoors, the lenses stay clear, and they do darken when exposed to sunlight. It's convenient not having to switch between multiple pairs of glasses when moving between indoor and outdoor spaces.
However, I was disappointed with the bifocal aspect. The reading section feels too small and weak - I often find myself straining to read text clearly. It's frustrating when a key feature doesn't perform as expected.
The build quality leaves much to be desired. On my first outdoor wear, one of the nose pieces fell out unexpectedly. The frames feel flimsy compared to other glasses I've owned, making me question their durability over time.
While they do block blue light effectively for computer use, the overall experience is marred by these quality issues. They might work as temporary solution, but I wouldn't rely on them for long-term daily use.
