Okay, so I needed a new laptop after my ancient Dell finally gave up on life. Found this Maxsignage thing for under $250 and thought – why not? Here’s the tea after two weeks of using it:
The Good: This thing BOOTS. Like, scary fast. That 12GB RAM + SSD combo is no joke for basic tasks and light gaming (yes, Roblox runs smooth). Screen colors pop way more than expected for the price, and the keyboard? Huge. Love or hate it—I’m team love because I fat-finger keys less.
The Meh: Battery life is… optimistic. Claims ‘all-day’ but really it’s more like ‘Netflix binge until lunch.’ Also, the trackpad randomly turns into a disco with phantom clicks sometimes. Annoying but not deal-breaking.
The Sneaky Lie: Advertised as Wi-Fi 6 but actually Wi-Fi 5. Not a crisis for me, but shady marketing.
Final Verdict: For $220? Absolute steal if you need basics done FAST. Just don’t expect MacBook build quality or marathon battery sessions.
