Okay, so I’ve been using these Nordic Pure filters for a while now, and here’s the tea. First off, the price is 👌 compared to the Lennox-branded ones. Like, why pay $100 when you can get two for way less? But yeah, sizing is a bit of a headache—labeling it as 20x25x4 when it’s actually 4 3/8” thick? C’mon, Nordic Pure. My HVAC guy would laugh at this.
Fit-wise, they’re *almost* perfect. Had to give my filter cover a little love tap to seat it properly. If you’ve got a Lennox system, maybe spring for the ‘Lennox-specific’ version (yes, they exist on Amazon). Still cheaper than OEM though!
Performance? Solid. MERV 12 is plenty for my non-hospital home (lol). Wildfire season had me trying the carbon version—air felt fresher, but hard to say if it was the carbon or just new-filter magic. Pro tip: Write install dates on the white edges! Lifesaver during allergy season.
Shipping roulette: 3/5 orders arrived looking like they wrestled a bear. Filters survived, but Nordic Pure needs to bubble-wrap their babies better.
Verdict: 4/5 stars. Great quality for price, but double-check sizing and pray to the shipping gods.
