I’ve been through my fair share of gymnastics grips, but the Element 26 IsoGrips are something else. From the first time I wrapped them around a pull-up bar, I knew they were different. The grip is insane—like my hands are glued to the bar, even without chalk. No more slipping mid-rep, which used to drive me crazy.
The padding is next-level. Unlike other grips that dig into my wrists or leave me with blisters, these have a thick neoprene layer that actually cushions my hands. I’ve done high-rep workouts (think Fran or Murph) and walked away without the usual raw palms or soreness. It feels like cheating.
One thing I love? The Kevlar reinforcement. I’ve had grips fall apart after a few weeks, but these feel built to last. The seams are solid, and the material doesn’t fray even after aggressive use. Plus, no break-in period—I took them straight out of the package and hit a PR on muscle-ups.
Word of advice: SIZE UP. I almost made the mistake of ordering my usual size, but after reading reviews, I went a size larger. Perfect fit. And if you’re on the fence about finger loops vs. loopless, try both—the grip is so sticky it almost doesn’t matter.
Downside? The velcro strap runs long, and on super smooth bars (like powder-coated ones), you might still need a bit of chalk. But for textured bars? Game over. Best grips I’ve ever used—and now half my gym is switching to them too.
