Just wrapped up using the Jolt Mobile Data SIM with their 6GB/90-day plan, and here's my real take on it!
First off, the activation process was... interesting. You gotta open a subscription which feels a bit sneaky since I thought it was a one-time purchase. Canceling? Yeah, that's its own little adventure. But once you jump through those hoops, it actually works pretty smoothly.
The coverage on AT&T's network is legit - my trail cam in the woods stayed connected way better than with my old provider. Speed's decent too for IoT stuff (I'm using it with a Reolink camera and GPS tracker).
Pro tip: FOLLOW THE ACTIVATION INSTRUCTIONS exactly. I skimmed them first time and had to call support (which was surprisingly helpful for once). The triple-cut SIM fits everything from my old tablet to new hotspot.
Biggest gripe? The whole subscription model feels like they're trying to trap you. But if you need short-term data for devices that can't call/text anyway, this gets the job done.
