Okay, so I got this MABIS talking blood pressure monitor because my doctor said I should track mine regularly. Here's the real tea after using it for a week:
• The talking feature is actually cool - it announces your BP clearly in English/Spanish. No squinting at tiny numbers!
• BUT... the display has this weird dark strip on the left side that covers part of the digits? Like hello, I need to see ALL the numbers.
• Major red flag: The readings are WILDY inconsistent. One minute it's screaming 'HIGH BP' with irregular heartbeat alerts, then 30 mins later it's normal. Went to my doc and turns out my actual BP was fine all along.
• On the plus side, the cuff fits comfortably (my arms are kinda thick) and storing 396 readings is overkill in a good way.
Verdict: Would be great if it worked properly, but can't trust these rollercoaster readings. Maybe mine's defective? Proceed with caution.
