Let me start by saying this mount is a lifesaver for those of us living in modern apartments with metal studs. The wide design allowed me to hit multiple studs, which gave me peace of mind about stability. My 65-inch TV feels rock-solid on it, and I love how close it sits to the wall - just 5.2 inches! The tilt function is smooth, making it easy to adjust for glare.
However, I ran into the same issue many reviewers mentioned: the built-in level is completely unreliable. After mounting my TV, I noticed it was visibly crooked. I had to take everything down and redo it with a proper level - frustrating! The plastic snap toggles also feel cheap; I broke two during installation when pulling too hard (thankfully there are extras included).
The instructions could be clearer too. While all necessary hardware is included (a big plus!), I found myself watching YouTube tutorials to fully understand some steps. For heavier TVs (mine's about 80lbs), you'll definitely want help during installation - those toggle bolts require serious force to set properly in metal studs.
Despite these flaws, once properly installed, this mount performs beautifully. The cable management system works as advertised, and the low-profile design gives my living room that sleek, modern look I wanted. Just be prepared to double-check everything and maybe buy some extra toggle bolts as backup.
