I've been using the MEEDEN Sketch Bag for a few weeks now, and it's become an essential part of my art routine. The first thing I noticed was how sturdy it feels—the 600D Oxford fabric is thick and water-resistant, which gives me peace of mind when I'm sketching outdoors. No more worrying about sudden rain ruining my supplies!
The bag fits my 9x12" sketchbook perfectly, though I do wish the internal pockets were just a tad bigger. Right now, I have to slide my pad in loosely before zipping it up, which isn't a dealbreaker but feels like a missed opportunity for snug storage. That said, the elastic loops for brushes and pens are *chef's kiss*—they keep everything organized so I'm not digging around mid-sketch.
What surprised me most was how the rigid structure doubles as a makeshift drawing board. When I'm sitting on a park bench, I can prop the bag on my lap and sketch comfortably without needing extra support. The adjustable shoulder strap is comfy for long walks, though I mostly use the handles—they’re padded just enough to not dig into my fingers.
Is it perfect? Almost. If you’re a minimalist who carries just the essentials (sketchbook, 5-6 brushes, a travel palette), this bag is golden. But if you’re someone who lugs around 20 tubes of paint and three extra pads, you might find it tight. For me? It’s the Goldilocks zone—compact but mighty.
