First off, let me just say - this nightstand is a stunner. The navy blue finish paired with those fluted details gives it that perfect blend of farmhouse charm and modern simplicity. It's the kind of piece that makes your bedroom feel instantly more put together.
The built-in charging station is where things get really convenient. Having two USB ports and outlets right at my fingertips means no more crawling under the bed to plug in my phone. Though I do wish the ports were positioned differently - they eat up valuable surface space when you've got multiple devices charging.
Assembly took me about 45 minutes (I'm notoriously slow at these things). The instructions were clear, but be warned - this isn't solid wood furniture. While it's sturdy enough for daily use, you can tell it's engineered wood when you're putting it together.
Storage-wise, those two drawers are lifesavers. I keep one for bedtime essentials (lip balm, hand cream) and the other for random clutter I want out of sight. The open shelf underneath is perfect for books or extra blankets.
My biggest caution? Keep liquids away! With all those electrical components built into the top, a spilled drink could mean disaster. I've taken to using coasters religiously now.
Would I recommend it? For the price point, absolutely - especially if you're furnishing a guest room or first apartment. Just don't expect heirloom-quality construction.
