Okay, so I've been on a never-ending quest for the perfect moisturizer for my Sahara-desert-level dry skin. This Minimalist one with 5% Marula Oil? Game changer.
First off - the texture is *chef's kiss*. It's lightweight but doesn't disappear into nothingness like some 'hydrating' products do. That marula oil gives it just enough richness without feeling greasy.
I use it both AM and PM after my serums. In the morning, it layers beautifully under sunscreen (no pilling!). At night, I sometimes mix in an extra drop of oil when my skin feels extra thirsty.
The best part? No fragrance! My sensitive skin usually throws a fit with scented products, but this one plays nice. Also loving that clean ingredient list - no silicones or other questionable stuff.
After two weeks of use, I've noticed my foundation applies way smoother and I'm getting fewer dry patches. It's not magic (I still need to drink water lol), but it's definitely made a difference.
Would I repurchase? Already did! Found my holy grail moisturizer under $20.
