Okay, so I've been using these Stylia pencils for about 3 months now, and here's the tea ☕
First off - the BLACK is ACTUALLY BLACK. After years of greyish "black" pencils that made me look like a washed-out raccoon, this was a revelation. The pigment is insane and it lasts all day (unless you're an oily queen like me - then maybe carry one for touch-ups).
The variety pack is clutch. I use black for my brows but have been experimenting with brown No.3 as eyeliner - game changer! Though warning: the lighter shades barely show up unless you're ghost pale.
Now the weird part - that little string at the tip? What even is that? It's like the pencil's weird little antenna that just dangles there judging your makeup skills. And sharpening these bad boys takes some practice - that included razor blade had me feeling like a serial killer at first.
Pro tip: Use a box cutter to make a flat edge instead of sharpening to a point. Creates perfect hair-like strokes for microblading effect. Also works great for beard detailing (shoutout to the beard kings in the reviews!).
Bottom line: For $12, you get what feels like a lifetime supply of decent-quality pencils. Just don't expect luxury packaging or instructions - we out here rawdogging our brow game.
