Let me start by saying I had high expectations for this Cold Press Juicer. The idea of tossing in whole fruits and veggies without pre-cutting sounded like a dream. But reality hit hard.
The 5.4-inch wide feed chute is indeed convenient, especially when making juice for my kids. No knife handling means less worry about accidents. However, the juicer's performance was inconsistent at best.
When it worked, the juice quality was excellent - smooth and nutrient-rich thanks to the slow masticating technology. But more often than not, I faced frustrating clogs, especially with fibrous produce like ginger or pineapple.
The cleaning process is relatively easy with just three main parts to rinse, but frequent disassembly due to clogs made this more tedious than advertised.
The safety features are commendable - the automatic stop when opening the chute lid gives peace of mind with kids around. But the wobbly operation and plastic smell during extended use raised durability concerns.
While some users report great experiences, my unit struggled with efficiency. The claimed 99% juice yield didn't match reality - I often found wet pulp indicating wasted juice.
For apartment dwellers, be warned: it's loud enough to disturb neighbors and too tall for standard cabinet clearance.
Bottom line: When it works, it makes great juice. But reliability issues make me hesitant to fully recommend it unless you're prepared for occasional frustrations.
