Okay, so I finally caved and got this Kello Wireless CarPlay thingy after seeing all the hype. And wow - it actually lives up to it!
First off, setup was stupid easy. Like plug-it-in-and-it-works easy. No weird app downloads or 20-step pairing process. Just Bluetooth + WiFi and boom - connected to my iPhone 12 in like 8 seconds the first time.
The best part? NO MORE CABLES! My car used to look like a spider web with all those charging cords everywhere. Now it's so clean and minimal. Plus the adapter itself is tiny - barely bigger than a USB stick.
Performance has been flawless for me. Connects automatically when I start the car (takes about 3 seconds now). Music sounds crisp, maps load instantly, and Siri works just like with wired CarPlay. Had zero connection drops during my daily commute.
Bonus points for working with Android too! My friend borrowed my car and his Galaxy paired right up with no issues.
Only minor gripe? The USB-C adapter sticks out a tiny bit in my car's port, but honestly that's nitpicking. For $80-ish bucks, this has been one of my best tech purchases this year!
