Let me start by saying this holder does exactly what it promises – it holds your phone on the Rogue Echo Bike. Installation was a breeze; just one screw and I was ready to go. The no-frills design means no complicated adjustments, which I appreciate when I'm mid-workout and dripping sweat.
But here's the thing – this isn't winning any beauty contests. The plastic looks like it came straight out of a 3D printer gone wrong, with rough edges that snag my gym towel. My workout buddy actually asked if I'd melted it myself with a hairdryer!
Functionality-wise, it gets the job done... until it doesn't. Mine lasted about three weeks of daily use before the plastic lip snapped while holding my iPhone 12 (without a case, since the groove is too narrow for most cases). For the price, I expected better durability.
The sideways-only orientation isn't ideal if you're trying to follow along with workout videos, but for checking my cycling stats or timing intervals, it works fine. Just don't expect premium quality – this is strictly utilitarian gear for people who care more about their workout than accessories.
