Let me start by saying these brakes transformed my sketchy downhill runs into controlled descents. The CNC-machined 2-piston calipers bite hard when I need them to, but what surprised me most was the feather-light modulation—I can practically feel individual pebbles under my tires while braking.
The two-finger levers? Genius. At first I missed the leverage of long levers, but after a rocky descent where I needed three fingers death-gripping the bars, I understood. The angle adjustment screws let me dial in the perfect lever position—no more wrist strain during marathon rides.
Installation was mostly plug-and-play (they come pre-bled!), though fair warning: if you're running internal routing on an XL frame like my Santa Cruz, you'll need extra olives and barbs. My rear line barely reached at 1500mm—wish it was 100mm longer.
After three months of mud, dust, and a particularly embarrassing crash into a creek (not the brakes' fault!), they still perform like day one. The cooling fins actually work—I've yet to experience fade even on our local brake-burning downhill trails.
For the price? Absolute steal compared to big-name brands. Just measure your frame twice before ordering if you need internal routing.
