Let me start by saying these RUXELY cables are a solid budget option, especially considering you get two in a pack. The gold-plated connectors and braided nylon jacket give them a premium feel, and they’ve held up well during my gigs without tangling or fraying.
I tested these with my Fender Strat and Marshall amp, and the sound was clear with minimal interference—no annoying hum or buzz. The lightweight design is a plus for stage use, and the 10ft length gives enough freedom to move around without feeling restricted.
However, there’s a catch. Like some reviewers mentioned, these cables don’t play nice with all pedals. My BOSS DS-1 worked fine, but my friend’s RC-5 loop station refused to power up when plugged in fully. Partial insertion worked, but that’s hardly a solution mid-performance.
Another downside: while they’re marketed as balanced cables, they’re not ideal for studio monitors or high-end setups where true balanced signals matter. For casual home practice or small gigs, though, they deliver decent performance for the price.
Final verdict? Great for beginners or as backup cables, but pros might want to invest in something more reliable for critical setups.
