Okay, so I finally caved and got this Dukoyb mount for my Ring doorbell after my landlord gave me the side-eye about drilling holes. Best. Decision. Ever.
First off, installation was stupid easy—like, ‘I-finished-before-my-coffee-got-cold’ easy. The included double-head screwdriver? Genius move. No hunting for tools at 8 PM.
The ABS plastic feels sturdy AF—not that flimsy ‘gonna-snap-in-winter’ plastic. Plus, the stainless steel bits? Chef’s kiss. My doorbell hasn’t budged through three Midwest thunderstorms.
Pro tip: MEASURE YOUR DOOR. Almost skipped this step (who reads instructions?) but glad I didn’t—my neighbor’s wrought iron door would’ve been a disaster. The 0.6-2.3” thickness range is non-negotiable.
Only hiccup? The filler sponges only work with the 2024 model (mine’s 2020). Had to MacGyver it with some duct tape—no biggie.
12/10 would recommend to anyone who wants security without permanent damage. Landlord-approved and thief-proof!
