I recently installed the Skechers faux leather floor mats in my Honda Accord, and they’ve been a mixed bag. The material feels premium—thick, soft, and definitely a step up from my old rubber mats. No weird chemical smell either, which is a huge plus.
The anti-slip pads work well for the most part, but on longer drives, I noticed the driver’s side mat shifts slightly. Not enough to be dangerous, but enough to annoy me. Cleaning is a breeze though—spilled coffee wiped right off without staining.
Fit is where these struggle. While they ‘technically’ fit my sedan, there’s about 2 inches of exposed carpet near the pedals. I ended up using the rear mats as extra coverage for my dog’s muddy paws—improvised win! These would be perfect for compact cars, but mid-size sedan owners might want to measure first.
That said, for the price? The Skechers branding and sleek carbon/grey design make my car interior look way more expensive than it is. Just don’t expect OEM-level coverage.
