Just finished 'First Strike: Rebellion Begins' and wow, this book is a rollercoaster! The writing flows so smoothly that I could practically see the battles unfolding in my head. It's like watching a movie, but better because my imagination got to fill in the details.
What really stood out to me were the characters. They’re not just cardboard cutouts—they have depth, flaws, and real emotions. Even though I hadn’t read the previous series (if there is one), the author did a great job giving enough background so I didn’t feel lost. The action scenes? Absolutely gripping, but balanced with moments of reflection that made the story feel richer.
The only downside? It ends on a bit of a cliffhanger, and now I’m itching to get my hands on the next book. If you love military sci-fi with heart and nonstop action, this is a must-read. Even my dad—who’s picky about his space operas—gave it a thumbs-up!
