Okay, so I finally installed these stainless steel hinges after staring at the package for a week. Let me tell you - it was an adventure!
First off, the instructions might as well be hieroglyphics. I spent 20 minutes just figuring out how to release the tension (protip: remove that tiny side screw first!). The hinges arrived super stiff - had to drench them in WD-40 before they'd move properly.
The good? These babies are STURDY. My warped closet door that never closed properly? Now slams shut like it's mad at the world (maybe too hard - still adjusting tension). Installation required some DIY magic though - had to bust out my Dremel to make them fit right.
Would I recommend? If you're handy and patient, yes. If not... maybe call a friend who owes you a favor. Just don't expect the instructions to help much!
