Okay, so I got this Smart Caregiver alarm for my grandma who's been trying to ninja her way out of bed at 3 AM. Let me tell you—this thing is a GAME CHANGER.
First off, setup took like 5 minutes. Just slid the pad under her sheets near her hips (pro tip: placement matters for fewer false alarms). The remote pager? I keep it on my nightstand, and it wakes ME up without scaring her half to death. Genius.
The range is wild—I’ve tested it from our backyard (don’t judge, I needed coffee) and it still beeped. Also obsessed that it works through walls because my paranoid self used to SPRINT upstairs at every creak.
Downsides? The sensor battery isn’t replaceable (ugh), and it only alerts AFTER they’re already up—so if your person needs split-second reactions, maybe pair it with a camera. But for $150? Worth every penny for the sleep I’m finally getting.
PS: The free pillbox is cute but… why does it look like a toddler’s art project?
