Okay, so I just finished 'The Crash' and WOW. Freida McFadden really knows how to mess with your head. That blizzard setting? Genius. I could practically feel the cold creeping in while reading.
The whole pregnant-Tegan-trapped-with-creepy-couple situation had me STRESSED. Like, I kept yelling at my book 'GIRL RUN!' even though she literally couldn't (broken ankle problems). The tension was next level.
That twist about Polly's backstory? Did NOT see that coming. McFadden always finds ways to make you sympathize with characters you think are pure evil. And Hank... let's just say first impressions can be deceiving!
Only complaint? I read this before bed like an idiot and then couldn't sleep because my brain kept going 'but what if...?' 10/10 would recommend (just not at midnight).
