Okay so I finally caved and bought these chrome nail powders after seeing them all over Instagram. The packaging is cute - you get 6 little jars with different shades. I was most excited about the rose gold one!

First attempt was a DISASTER. Tried using it over regular polish like some tutorials showed, but it just smudged everywhere and looked patchy. Then I got some on my favorite sweater and it won't come out - RIP sweater :(

BUT when I actually followed the proper gel method (base coat > cure > color > cure > powder) it worked MAGIC. That metallic mirror finish is insane! Pro tip: use a light hand when applying the powder.

The colors aren't exactly what's pictured - my 'rose gold' is more barbie pink? But honestly I'm not even mad because it's so pretty. Just wish they were more accurate to the photos.

Biggest surprise: how versatile this stuff is! Used some on my phone case and it looks 🔥 Would make a great gift for nail art lovers, but maybe include some stain remover too lol
