First off, let me say this poncho is LIGHT. Like, 'forgot I was wearing it' light. Perfect for tossing in my backpack for unexpected rain.

BUT OH MY GOD THE SMELL! Unpacking it was like opening a chemical factory. Had to air it out for two days before daring to wear it.

The size is decent (I'm 5'9") but that hood situation? Comically small. I had to choose between covering my hair or my glasses - couldn't do both!

Used it during a sudden downpour last week. Kept me dry-ish, but at one point the wind caught it and *rrrrip* - now I have a stylish asymmetrical poncho.

Would I buy again? Maybe as a cheap emergency option, but definitely not for regular use. 2/5 stars - it works, but barely.
