Okay, so I finally pulled the trigger on this beast of a TV - the Samsung QN900D 8K Neo QLED. Let me break it down for you:
The good? The picture quality is INSANE. Like, 'I can see every pore on an actor's face' insane. The AI upscaling actually works magic on my 4K content. And that infinity edge design? Chef's kiss. It literally disappears into my wall with the Slim Fit mount.
But... (there's always a but) the sound is just meh. Like, for $5K I expected better built-in audio. Had to immediately pair it with my soundbar.
Setup was surprisingly easy though! The separate media box is genius - makes the TV super light and hides all cables cleanly.
Now the bad: Had major issues with Google Assistant integration despite what was advertised. Also, why so many default apps I'll never use Samsung?
Final verdict? If you've got deep pockets and want cutting-edge picture tech, go for it. But maybe wait until they work out some kinks.
