Just got my hands on the MOES Smart WiFi Thermostat Outlet, and here's my honest take after using it for a while.
The Good: Setup was a breeze! Plugged it in, connected via the Smart Life app, and voila—remote control from my phone. Love the temp alerts when things go out of range. Works with Alexa too, which is handy for voice commands.
The Annoying: Changing temp settings? Forget the app—you’re stuck fiddling with buttons on the unit itself. Feels like a step backward for a 'smart' device. Also, the app sometimes shows wonky temps that don’t match reality.
The Quirks: Once it turns on (heating/cooling), it won’t stop until the *other* temp limit is hit. No middle ground. Had to rig an Alexa routine to force-reset it daily. Not ideal.
Verdict? Handy but flawed. Great for basic monitoring, but if you need precision, look elsewhere.
