Let me tell you, these TOLESA flap discs are game-changers for anyone working with metal. I've been using them for everything from rust removal on old car frames to smoothing out weld seams, and they've held up impressively.
The zirconia grains make a noticeable difference - they cut through stainless steel like butter and last way longer than standard alumina discs I've used before. At about $1.50 per disc, the value is unbeatable.
What really stands out is how aggressive the 40-grit surface is while still maintaining control. The Type 29 angle makes contour work surprisingly easy, though getting into tight corners of I-beams can be tricky.
The fiberglass backing plate does wonders for vibration control - my hands aren't numb after prolonged use like with cheaper discs. Just a word of caution: these will absolutely destroy wood if that's not your intention!
After going through about half the pack on various projects, I can confidently say they perform just as well as premium brands costing 3-4 times more. Unless you're doing ultra-precise aerospace work, these will handle 95% of metal grinding jobs beautifully.
