Okay, so I finally caved and got the Govee TV Backlight 3 Lite for my 50-inch TV, and holy moly—why didn’t I do this sooner?!

The setup was surprisingly easy. The adhesive strips held up perfectly (even though my TV is mounted at a slight tilt). The camera calibration took a few tries—pro tip: dim your room lights for this part!

Movie nights are now NEXT LEVEL. The colors sync so vividly with explosions or sunset scenes. My partner kept pausing Netflix just to stare at the wall like ‘whoa.’ Gaming? Even better. Racing games feel faster when the room pulses red during crashes.

Minor gripes: The camera wobbles if you bump the TV, and I wish the app had a ‘less aggressive’ mode for chill documentaries. But for the price? 10/10 would binge-watch again.
