Okay, so I finally caved and bought this meat slicer after months of debating. And WOW, why did I wait so long?!
First off, the adjustable thickness is a game-changer. I’ve used it for everything from paper-thin beef for pho to thick-cut sourdough bread. That 0-15mm dial? Chef’s kiss.
The stainless steel blade is SHARP (seriously, keep kids away). Sliced through a Costco brisket like butter. Did notice it struggles slightly with softer meats unless they’re properly chilled though.
Cleanup? Surprisingly easy. Toss the removable parts in the dishwasher and wipe down the base. Though pro tip: watch for meat bits hiding behind the blade.
Only gripe: wish it came with a catch tray. Currently using a baking sheet underneath to collect slices – works but looks janky.
For $100-ish? Absolute steal if you cook/slice often. Just don’t expect commercial-grade perfection.
