Okay, so I finally caved and bought these fake lavenders after killing approximately 47 real plants this year (RIP). Here's the tea:
First off - they're STURDY. Like, 'survived my cat using them as chew toys' sturdy. The plastic-coated wire stems bend nicely but don't snap like cheaper faux flowers I've tried.
The color? Gorgeous. Got the purple ones and they actually look realistic from a distance. My neighbor asked if I'd suddenly developed a green thumb - fooled her!
UV resistant my butt though - after two months in direct Arizona sun, they've faded about 30%. Still pretty, just more pastel now. Would recommend for shaded areas.
Pro tip: Buy extra bundles if you want a lush look. I used all 18 just for my front porch planter and wish I'd gotten two sets.
Bonus: They make great last-minute decor! Used some in a bridal shower centerpiece when real flowers arrived wilted. Saved my butt and got compliments!
