Okay, so I've been using this Newsmay N100 mini PC for about a month now, and it's been... interesting.
First off, the good stuff: This little box is SILENT. Like, 'is it even on?' silent. The fanless design is perfect for my home office where I need zero distractions. The 4x 2.5Gbe ports are awesome for my network setup - finally upgraded from my old router!
But here's the thing... sometimes it just decides to take a nap? Like full-on crashes for no reason. And don't get me started on the storage speeds - trying to move files feels like watching paint dry.
The POE feature is cool when it works (which is about 70% of the time). When it doesn't? Well, at least there's the power adapter backup.
Would I recommend it? Maybe? If you're okay with some quirks and want a compact network appliance, sure. But if you need rock-solid reliability 24/7... maybe keep looking.
