Just got my hands on the Nokia G50 5G and here's my honest take after a month of use.
First off, the 6.82-inch screen is massive for media consumption - perfect for my Netflix binges. The Ocean Blue back has this subtle shimmer that catches light beautifully (though it's a fingerprint magnet!).
The 48MP triple camera surprised me - daylight shots are crisp, though low-light performance could be better. That AI stabilization actually works wonders for my shaky hands when recording videos.
Battery life? Absolute champ! The advertised '2-day battery' holds true with moderate use. The 18W fast charging isn't lightning-fast by today's standards, but gets me from 20% to 80% in about an hour.
Now the quirks: The side-mounted fingerprint sensor is... interesting. It unlocks with any finger despite only registering my thumb (security who?). Also, those flush side buttons get accidentally pressed way too often - had to buy a raised case.
Performance-wise, the Snapdragon 480 handles daily tasks smoothly, though heavy gaming causes noticeable frame drops. Android 13 upgrade was seamless and brought welcome UI improvements.
Final verdict? For $200-ish unlocked with 5G/NFC, this is one of the better budget options if you can live with its eccentricities. Just get a case immediately - that glossy back is slippery as heck!
