First impressions matter, and the RF Broadband Amplifier Module definitely looks the part with its compact design and clear labeling. The 40dB gain across a wide frequency range (30MHz-4000MHz) is impressive on paper, promising strong amplification for FM, HF, VHF, and UHF signals.
In real-world testing, the amplifier performed well when I could actually connect it! The lack of US coax connectors was a major oversight. I had to scramble to find adapters just to test it with my equipment. Once connected though, the gain stability lived up to its claims - my shortwave reception noticeably improved.
The module runs surprisingly cool even during extended use, which speaks to good engineering. However, the missing connectors make this an awkward purchase for US users. It's like buying a sports car without wheels - great potential but unusable out of the box.
For international buyers or those willing to source adapters separately, this could be a solid amplifier. But for plug-and-play convenience in North America, you might want to look elsewhere or be prepared for some extra work.
