After struggling with bulky HDMI cables and unreliable wireless solutions, this extender has been a game-changer for my home theater setup. The 4K@60Hz transmission through my flat Cat6 cable is buttery smooth - no more compression artifacts or lag during intense gaming sessions.

What surprised me most was the PoE functionality. Running power through the Ethernet cable eliminated messy power adapters behind my wall-mounted TV. Setup took literally two minutes - just plug and play with the included accessories.

I did learn the hard way about cable quality though. My first attempt with a cheap 100ft Cat5e failed miserably, but switching to shielded Cat6 gave me flawless performance at 150ft. The EDID management works perfectly when switching between my PS5 and Apple TV.
