First impressions matter, and the Big Ant Leather Seat Pad didn't disappoint when I unboxed it. The folded package took about 6 hours to fully expand, but the wait was worth it. The anti-skid bottom layer is a game-changer - no more sliding around when getting in and out of the car!
I've been using this pad in my office chair for two weeks now. The reversible design (cloth on one side, PU leather on the other) lets me switch between comfort and style. While it's not genuine leather as some might expect, the material feels premium and cleans easily with just a damp cloth.
The attachment system is where things get interesting. Those mysterious white plastic discs and elastic hooks had me puzzled at first. After some trial and error, I found they work best with chairs that have pull-out footrests. In my car though, I opted not to use them as they kept coming unhooked during exits.
Comfort-wise, it provides just enough cushioning without adding too much height (crucial for us taller folks). My 8-hour workdays became noticeably less painful after adding this pad. However, if you're looking for deep cushioning or significant elevation, you might want something thicker.
The biggest surprise? How well it holds up over time. While some users reported peeling after weeks of use, mine still looks great after daily use in both car and office settings. Just don't expect those embossed circles to be actual tufting - they're purely decorative.
