Let me start by saying this: if you're a werewolf enthusiast, this Steelbook edition is a MUST-HAVE. The embossed, glossy cover art alone is worth the purchase—it looks absolutely menacing on my movie rack.
The film itself is a breath of fresh air in the werewolf genre. Unlike typical Hollywood carbon copies, this one builds tension masterfully. I found myself scanning every shadowy corner of the screen, genuinely paranoid for the characters' safety.
The special features on the Blu-ray are fantastic—especially for film buffs who appreciate practical effects. While some complain about jump scares (yes, there are a few cheap ones), the overall atmosphere of dread more than makes up for it.
One warning: this isn't your childhood Wolf Man. It's rated R for good reason—the horror is intense and psychological. I made the mistake of watching it alone at night and let's just say...I slept with the lights on.
The only downside? Some reported DVD playback issues, but my 4K copy worked perfectly. If you want a white-knuckle horror experience with stunning collectible packaging, this Steelbook delivers in spades.
