Okay, so I've been using the UMIDIGI G9C for about a month now, and honestly? It's way better than I expected for the price. Here's the tea:
First off, that 6.75" HD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate is smooth AF. Scrolling through TikTok or Instagram feels buttery, and colors pop nicely. Not flagship-level, but definitely impressive for under $150.
The battery life? Insane. That 5000mAh beast lasts me through two full days of moderate use (social media, some YouTube, light gaming). When I do need to charge, it's quick enough with the included adapter.
Performance-wise, the Helio G36 octa-core + 12GB RAM (with virtual expansion) handles my daily apps without breaking a sweat. Multitasking between WhatsApp, Chrome and Spotify works perfectly fine - though hardcore gamers might want something more powerful.
Camera surprised me! The 50MP main shooter takes decent daylight shots (don't expect Pixel quality though). Night mode exists but is... let's say 'optimistic'. Selfie cam gets the job done for video calls.
Bonus points: Comes with pre-applied screen protector AND a case in the box (why can't Samsung do this?). Also has that sweet headphone jack we all miss.
Only real con? Network compatibility can be iffy - worked fine on my carrier but check your bands first!
Verdict: For under $150? Absolute steal if you want big screen + great battery without breaking bank. Would buy again!
