Let me start by saying this Nuwave Double Induction Cooktop has completely transformed my cooking routine. The dual 8-inch heating coils are massive compared to other induction cooktops I've used, which means even my largest pots heat evenly without hotspots.
The temperature control is where this unit really shines. With 94 precise settings from 100°F to 575°F, I can gently melt chocolate at 110°F one minute and sear steaks at 575°F the next. The 5°F increments make fine-tuning heat levels incredibly easy - no more guessing or constant adjustments.
I use this daily for everything from morning coffee (heats water faster than my kettle!) to elaborate dinner parties. Being able to independently control both burners means I can boil pasta on one side while simmering sauce on the other - just like a professional kitchen setup.
The safety features are impressive too. The surface stays cool to the touch (except under the cookware), and the auto-shutoff gives me peace of mind when I get distracted. Cleaning is a breeze - just wipe down the ceramic glass surface.
My only minor complaint is that when using both burners simultaneously, they default to 900W each. While still powerful, I sometimes wish I could allocate more power to one burner if the other isn't being used heavily.
The included recipe book has been surprisingly useful, introducing me to new cooking techniques that take advantage of the precise temperature control. After three months of heavy use, this has become my go-to cooking appliance, even replacing my gas range for most tasks.
