Okay, so I finally caved and bought this wireless HDMI thing after seeing all the hype. Let me tell you - it's been a rollercoaster!
The good? Setup was stupid easy. Like 'plug-and-play' actually meant something for once. No apps, no Bluetooth nonsense - just worked immediately with my laptop and TV. Picture quality is shockingly good for wireless - my 1080p movies look crisp with zero lag.
But here's the tea... The range claims are... optimistic. Through one wall? Fine. Two walls? Forget about it. Also gets weirdly warm after a while - not burning hot, but definitely makes me side-eye it sometimes.
Biggest win? No more HDMI cable tripping hazards! My living room looks so much cleaner now. But heads up - it DOES need constant power (USB-C), which wasn't super clear in the product description.
Would I buy again? Probably. It's not perfect, but when it works (which is most of the time), it's magical. Just don't expect miracles through concrete walls.
