Just switched from my ancient A20 to the A25 5G mainly for that sweet headphone jack (RIP dongle life). Got a refurbished unit at 30% off – looks brand new!
The AMOLED screen is 🔥 compared to my old phone – 800 nits brightness makes outdoor scrolling actually possible. Stereo speakers sound decent for binge-watching, though I mostly use earbuds.
Camera system feels overkill for my needs (50MP main sensor?!), but sunset shots do pop. Major gripe: Samsung still hasn't fixed their janky screenshot combo (power+vol down). Edge palm swipe fails half the time.
Battery lasts me a full day as a moderate user. Love the expandable storage – popped in a 512GB card for my meme collection.
Performance is... fine? Exynos 1280 handles social/media smoothly but stutters occasionally. Wouldn't recommend for heavy gamers.
TL;DR: Great upgrade from older A-series, but power users might want to spring for the A35.
