Let me start by saying these silicone grips are ADORABLE. The pastel white, pink, and purple combo had me instantly sold. As someone who doodles on Procreate for hours, the soft texture and 0.35mm thickness make long sessions way more comfortable than bare Apple Pencil.
INSTALLATION TIP: Go slow! Some reviewers struggled, but I found twisting while pushing downward works best. Once on, they stay put without bulking up the pencil.
THE GOOD: The threaded design really does prevent slippage (goodbye sweaty-hand anxiety!). They’re compatible with magnetic iPad attachment, and I love having 3 colors to match my mood. Bonus—they fit third-party styluses too!
THE NOT-SO-GOOD: Charging is hit-or-miss. Mine works if I align the grip’s flat side perfectly with the iPad’s charging strip, but some users report needing removal. The double-tap feature becomes finicky since the silicone muffles sensitivity.
VERDICT: At this price for 3 sleeves, they’re great for casual users who prioritize comfort over functionality. Hardcore artists might find the charging/double-tap tradeoff annoying, but for note-taking and occasional drawing? Totally worth it.
