Just installed this little black magic box to my APEC RO system and WOW – my icemaker finally fills properly! No more half-empty trays like when I was using tap water directly. The pressure boost is insane.

Pro tip: Remove the ASO valve when installing this pump. My water bottles now fill twice as fast from the RO faucet. Didn't measure wastewater reduction but the system regenerates in ~30 mins after heavy use vs. forever before.

Installation was smoother than expected – just followed a YouTube tutorial (the included instructions work too). Noticed a slight TDS increase post-install (probably from disabling ASO), but 30ppm is still way better than our 400ppm tap water. Wouldn't drink unfiltered water now!

Only gripe? The clicking noise. There's apparently a quieter version for 50gpd systems I wish I'd known about. Soundproofed my cabinet but still audible in quiet moments. TV drowns it out though.

Final verdict? 100% worth it for any RO system, especially with icemakers. Just be ready for the pump's 'enthusiastic' sound effects!
