First impression? This shapewear looks tiny out of the package but stretches like magic. I wore it under a bodycon dress for a wedding and got 3 compliments on my 'flat tummy' - which hasn't happened since college!

The fabric is thick but breathable - I didn't overheat even during summer outdoor events. The open bust design is genius; lets me wear my own supportive bra (36DD here) while still getting waist compression.

Watch the sizing though! I'm usually size 12 but took L/XL based on reviews. At 5'7", the thigh part rides up slightly when sitting for hours - I fixed this by wearing bike shorts over it.

Biggest win? The back smoothing. No more bra bulge or back fat under fitted tops. The gusset opening is convenient but does feel awkward during bathroom breaks - small tradeoff for not having to strip completely.

After 3 months of weekly wear: no pilling, seams intact, and still stretches back to shape after washing. Just avoid high heat drying. For $40? Way better than my old Spanx.
