Just survived another brutal winter with these plant covers! Here’s my honest take:
The Good: These covers are LIFESAVERS for my citrus trees. The zipper design? Genius—no more wrestling with tangled fabric. The 2.1oz fabric feels sturdy yet breathable, and my trees didn’t suffocate (unlike last year’s plastic tarp disaster). Bonus: the drawstring kept raccoons from treating my shrubs like a midnight snack.
The Quirks: The bright white color screams "alien landing zone" in my garden. Wish they came in green! Also, while they fit my 6ft lemon tree perfectly, my wider olive tree needed some DIY stitching (note: dimensions are flat measurements, not circumference).
Pro Tip: Bamboo stakes are a must for heavy snow—learned this after my first cover collapsed like a sad tent. Shake off snow regularly!
Verdict: 4/5 stars. They’re not magic (RIP one stubborn fuchsia), but for the price? Absolute winter warriors. Already ordered a second set!
