Okay, so I finally caved and bought these Soda combat boots after seeing them everywhere. And wow, they did NOT disappoint!

First off, the chunky heel is PERFECT - not too tall (3 inches) but gives that nice lift. The lug soles make them surprisingly grippy. I've worn them on rainy days and didn't slip once!

Comfort level? Surprisingly good! The first wear was a bit stiff (like most new boots), but after breaking them in, I can walk for hours. Though fair warning - they run narrow. I sized up 0.5 and wear thicker socks, which solved the issue.

The side zipper is a lifesaver for quick on/off, though it does get slightly stuck sometimes. Not a dealbreaker though.

Style points? 10/10. They go with EVERYTHING - jeans, dresses, even my work slacks. Got compliments from strangers three times last week!

For $23? Absolute steal. The quality feels way more expensive. My only regret? Not buying two pairs!
