Okay, so I finally got my hands on this book sleeve after seeing it all over bookstagram. Here's the real tea:

First off, the size is PERFECT. Like, it fits my chunkiest hardcovers with room to spare. I can even cram in 2 paperbacks if I'm feeling extra. The front pocket? Genius for my bookmarks and lip balms.

The material feels surprisingly sturdy - like it could survive being thrown in my tote bag daily (which says a lot because my bag is a black hole). The waterproof claim seems legit too - survived an unexpected coffee shop downpour.

Color warning though! The 'black' is more like a dark chocolate brown. Not mad about it, just not what I expected. The plaid pattern is way cuter in person though - very vintage bookstore vibes.
