I was thrilled to try the YOUSU Glow-in-the-Dark PLA filament for some creative night-time projects. The filament comes in a vibrant multicolor pack, including green, blue, purple, and rainbow options—each promising a magical glow effect.

Printing with this filament was surprisingly smooth. It extruded consistently, with no clogging or warping issues. The dimensional accuracy was spot-on, making it easy to work with even for detailed prints. The surface finish looked clean and professional under normal light.

However, the glow effect was hit or miss. After charging the prints under sunlight for 30 minutes, the green and blue filaments glowed beautifully, creating a stunning luminescent effect. But the purple and rainbow options barely showed any glow, which was disappointing.

I used the filament to print Halloween decorations and party favors, and the ones that worked looked fantastic under UV light. The glow lasted for a decent amount of time, adding a fun twist to my creations.
